McCain calls Chávez a dictator

The Republican candidate for the presidency of the United States, John McCain, described on Wednesday Venezuela's President Hugo Chávez as a 'dictator' and joked about the attacks of Cuban leader Fidel Castro, in an electoral event in Miami.

McCain referred to the Venezuelan Head of State after recalling that his rival, Democrat candidate Barack Obama is willing to meet with the 'worst dictators' citing among them 'Hugo Chávez, the Castro brothers and (Iranian President Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad.'

So far, McCain had never called Chávez a 'dictator.' Meanwhile, the US government always refers officially to the Venezuelan leader as 'President Chávez'.

The Republican candidate for the US Vice-Presidency Sarah Palin did call him 'dictator' some days ago. Chávez responded that he feels sorry for her because 'she does not even know what she says,' reported DPA.

  1. If Sarah Palin thinks of Hugo Chavez as a dictator, then Sarah Palin must be a Village Idiot from Alaska.

As for MacCain he has a habit of bad-mouthing anyone he disagrees with. He is of course an American Nut Bar, full of air and no substance.
    Yech!
