Chavez threatens to expropriate steel maker Sidor

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is threatening to expropriate Venezuela's largest steel maker because he says shareholders are demanding excessive compensation for the company's nationalization. Chavez dismissed a request made by Sidor's parent company, Luxembourg-based Ternium SA, for $4 billion in exchange for its 60 percent stake in the steel maker. The Venezuelan president ordered Sidor nationalized earlier this month, taking sides with workers who fought for improved salaries and benefits.

  1. first of all, There is no such things as " Threat and expropriate"

This Venezuela's State institution and strategic resources have been transferred illegitimatelly to a bunch of people to profit from it, everyone must know that a State institution or Resources CAN NOT BE PRIVATIZED OR SOLD to the private sector, so this made up deals of private ownership DOES NOT EXIST.

    This situation happened because the
mayority of Venezuelans did not look carefully or knew who they were electing as their presidents or governors and also ignored completely constitutional laws that protect their national patrimony.

Now the state is recovering institutions and resources by givingaway tons of money instead of reafirming its sovereign ownership by taking full control of the institutions and resources.

As it could have been done before, the state must keep transfering governing power to the mayority to get organized, to protect, and to manage wisely and honestly what
    constitutionally belong to all.

We have to watch out every State institution and resources this sector gets to infiltrate individuals to make the state look ineficient for the solely purpose to dismantle it and privatize it, and always remember that State with laws, is the only one with the power and authority to dismantle this sector or put it out of bussines, no the other way around.
